Kim Bong Carpenter Lost the Blueprint

Mr Nam Bảo, master carpenter of the Kim Bồng carpentry village, has come over to Hội An's old town to take measurements for rebuilding an old tube house. As he rested on the porch of a merchant's house on Nguyễn Thái Học street, the river wind blew his blueprint away and tore it into three pieces.

His chisel, his plane and his piece of jackfruit wood were also left behind along the way. You gather the blueprint and tools, build the tube-house model and get him to the afternoon ferry on time.

📍 Start: Tấn Ký Ancient House, 101 Nguyễn Thái Học.

⏱ Duration: about 60–90 minutes, 15 stages.

🚶 Distance: about 1.8–2 km one way on flat streets.

🕘 Suggested schedule: play in daylight between 8:00 and 17:00, best early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

⚠️ Notes: the old town is crowded, especially in the late afternoon and evening, so keep your wallet and phone safe. In the flood season (around October–November) the riverside can flood, so check the weather before you go.

💡 Tips: bring water, a hat and a power bank. Dress respectfully when entering old houses and assembly halls.
