About
In the 1640s, Spanish merchant Don Diego sailed from Manila on a merchant ship to the trading port of Faifo (Hội An). He has just one day to fill his chest with Hội An's precious goods before the monsoon winds change direction.
Along the way you solve riddles about each product and assemble the captain's sea chart. At the end, the Hội An trade chest is full.
📍 Start: The Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa Cầu).
⏱ Duration: about 60–90 minutes, 13 stages.
🚶 Distance: about 2 km on flat streets.
🕘 Suggested schedule: play in daylight, best around 7:30–9:30 or 15:30–17:30.
💰 Possible costs:
- No separate ticket is needed for the game: every stage is on the street.
- Hội An Ancient Town fee: the game does not require going inside any heritage site. Since 10 Aug 2026 the fee is 20,000 VND per person for each building you enter (Japanese Covered Bridge, assembly halls, old houses…), free for children under 16; ticketing in the old town may differ, so ask at a ticket booth before you go in.

⚠️ Notes: the old town is crowded, so keep your wallet and phone safe. In the flood season (around October–November) the riverside can flood, so check the weather before you go.
💡 Tips: bring water, a hat and a power bank.
Rules
- Walk in the old town, keep your voice down and give way to local residents.
- Only check-in GPS when the app requests; other stops should be solved on-site through observation, photos, and puzzles.
- Collect items into your inventory bag; use them at the right time to craft and pin them into the final chest.
- No ticket is needed for the structures; all main points are either outdoors or in public areas.
